Died of heart disease, near Estella, Gratiot Co., Mich., Nov. 1, 1879, Sister Mary Ann, wife of Bro. John Langdon, in the sixty-ninth year of her age. Sister Langdon was for many years a devoted follower of her Lord. Four years ago she, with others, embraced the third angel’s message, and she has given evidence of the genuineness of her faith by a life of prayer and devotion. May her many prayers for her unconverted children be held in remembrance before God. A large circle of friends are left to mourn, yet not without hope. Of her we can say that she is “asleep in Jesus.” Discourse by the writer, from Rev. 21:4, to a large and sympathizing audience.
