Pierce, Lewis S

Lewis S. Pierce, aged 73, passed away Aug. 16. 1959, at his home after a number of months of suffering.

Mr. Pierce was born April 2, 1886, in Gratiot County and spent the last 12 years of his life in Big Creek Township. He worked as janitor of the Mio High School for 11 years and was well thought of as a citizen in the community. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church of Mio.

He was laid to rest in the Sherman Mesick Cemetery.
