  • Central Michigan University has digitized papers from Isabella, Clare and Washtenaw counties.
  • Clarke Library at Central Michigan University is a great resource for historical documents from Gratiot and surrounding counties.
  • Library of Michigan and the Archives of Michigan is a perfect starting point for genealogical research in the area.
  • State of Michigan Archives includes death certificate images and other digitized items from their collection.
