The Annual Meeting of the GCHGS was held July 17 in the lower level of the Thompson Home Library in Ithaca. After an ice cream social, a short business meeting was held. Reports were given by Linda Weburg, museum, Judy Root, genealogy library and Mary Humm, treasurer. The proposed amendments to the constitution were approved and the following were elected to office for 2024: President-Maureen Murphy, Vice President-Linda Weburg, Recording Secretary-Elizabeth VanDyke, Corresponding Secretary-Karen Emery and Director-Jim Goodspeed.
A tour of the museum’s buildings followed the meeting.
